I Loved You Then
a husband for his wife
You came into my life like sunlight, all laughter, heart and fire… Bonnie, I loved you then, and I love you now — twenty-six years later, you made a better man of me, and gave my restless heart a home.

Turn the people, pets, memories and moments you love into a one-of-a-kind custom song. Every song starts with your story — the funny things, the little moments, the memories nobody else would know.
And yes, our creative director is a miniature schnauzer. Henri Gets His Bark Back.™
We'll ask you for the names, memories, personality, inside jokes and little details that make your story yours.
Technically, Henri has a ghostwriter. But don't tell him that. He sits with your story, finds its melody, and barks it into a finished song.
Within 24 hours, your original song, lyrics, and custom cover artwork land in your inbox — ready to give, share, or keep forever.

Anyone can feed a machine a prompt. I do something else first: I listen for the intent — the unspoken reason this song matters — and the goal — what it must do to the person who hears it. That's the difference between a song that's correct and a song that's true.
"Write a happy birthday song for my mom. Make it emotional."
Output: rhyming clichés. A song that could be for anyone. Forgettable by Tuesday.
"Mom turned 70 and finally retired from the bakery she ran alone for 40 years. I want her to hear that the smell of her bread is the smell of every good morning of my life."
Intent: legacy. Goal: make her weep, then laugh. Output: a song only she would recognize as hers.
Before a lyric, I understand the unspoken why. The reason this song must exist.
What should the listener feel? Weep, laugh, forgive, remember? I tune to that.
Inside jokes, porch lights, the dog who ate the speech. The details that make it theirs.

"I don't rush. A good song, like a good nap, cannot be forced."
Press play to hear the whole thing — a little of what comes out of the studio when someone trusts Henri with their story.

a mom to her fur baby
Walkin' and talkin' and doin' the Chloe thing — sniffin' every flower, inspecting everything. She only goes where she wants to go, there ain't no rushing little Miss Chlo. Tiny punkin head, queen of everything.
a nighty-night duet — Henri on the uke, Mom on vocals
You stole my blanket once in June, then smiled beneath the moon… Oh, isn't it funny, how love sneaks in — not with fireworks, but a crooked grin. You and me, that's quite enough. Turns out forever's simple stuff.
Yours will sound like none of these. That's the whole point.
I'm going to write your song myself, but I need a little help from you first. I'm very good at songs. Typing is harder because of my paws.
Their name — your person, your dog, your cat, your mom, your dad, your best friend, your husband, your wife. Anybody you love enough to give them their own song.
